Since 1986, Suffragan Bishop Rayford has been married to Jacquie Joy Rayford, daughter of Bishop Richard E. Young Sr., the former First Assistant Presiding Bishop of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (PAW) and his wife, Arlene Young. Suffragan Bishop Rayford and Jacquie are the parents of two adult children; son, Jeffrey and daughter, Brooke. Jeffrey is married to Sheree Rayford, and they are the parents of three children. Suffragan Bishop Rayford received his call to the ministry in 1990, under the guidance of Bishop Richard E. Young, Pastor of The Chosen Vessel Church in Fort Worth, Texas and served as an Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor. An astute Bible scholar and teacher, Suffragan Bishop Rayford delivers the Word of God with clarity and creativity as he expounds on the scriptures. He has a unique ability to explain the scriptures in ways that make it easy for the listener to understand. His steadfast integrity and belief in the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the believer, comes through in the messages he preaches and teaches. His goal is to glorify God by ministering to the lost, visiting the sick and encouraging the believer to live a saved and separated life in Christ. On December 3, 2006, Suffragan Bishop Rayford assumed the pastoral responsibilities of Faith, Hope and Love Family Worship Center Church in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. On Suffragan Bishop Rayford’s first Sunday, there was a small group of dedicated and faithful persons in attendance. Within the first few months the congregation experienced steady growth. It was during this time that Suffragan Bishop Rayford developed his pastoral motto, “Don’t worry about the numbers, just meet the needs of the people”. In 2011, this growing church, having sold its land, purchased an 8,000 square foot warehouse and began the renovation project to convert it into one of the most beautiful churches in Dane County. In 2013, Suffragan Bishop Rayford proposed to the congregation that it consider rebranding from Faith, Hope and Love Family Worship Center to The Faith Place. He felt The Faith Place was a better representation of the vision and future of the church. The Faith Place is a place where people of all walks of life gather together to believe God for salvation, miracles and blessings. The Faith Place is a growing community church. It’s a place where faith “works”. In June of 2019, Suffragan Bishop Rayford was selected to pastor the historic Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith, in Columbus, Ohio.
